Did you know that the use of your phone and computer can lead to repetitive use injuries? Daily use of these devices can affect your posture, lead to carpal tunnel, golfer’s elbow, texting thumb, and anterior shoulder strain.
Some things you can do to mitigate these problems:
1) By using a wireless mouse you can create a more ergonomic work environment.
2) Replace your keyboard with a more ergonomic one.
3) Take frequent breaks to get up and stretch and move around. There is an old saying “There is no such thing as a bad posture, as long as you don’t get stuck in it.”
4) Use your pointer finger to navigate your screens instead of your thumb.
Or you can come see us for a massage and we can work some of these imbalances out.
