Attention Last Minute Holiday Shoppers: Kneading Hands is hosting an event not to be missed. Join us as we present many wonderful ideas for stuffing all the stockings in your world. We will be serving treats and refreshments, as well as giving away many fun door prizes. The event will feature a reception of the amazing artistic talents of Amanda Marvin.
Amanda Marvin is a locally started artist. She moved to Steamboat 5 years ago and started dabbling in painting. First with acrylics on glass panes of window sashes, and more recently with oil on canvas. She also displays artwork at Winona’s Restaurant and bakery, where she is a baker, and at Awaken Massage Studio. Born in Denver, CO, Amanda traveled ardently for many years before settling down in Steamboat Springs.

Kneading Hands is excited to be participating in this year’s “Sisters in Steamboat Weekend”, an annual celebration of sisterhood. This years theme, “Girls just wanna have fun!”, is bound to be just that FUN! The event will be chock full of laughs, workshops, guest speakers, and fantastic giveaways. Kneading Hands will be participating in a fashion show Friday night, as well as a lotion making workshop on Saturday.
Wild Edibles Walk

Join local botanist for a low impact walk while exploring the wild edibles right in town. Though the season may be a little bleak for finding actual edibles this year (due to a scarcity of precipitation), we will still have the opportunity to look at habitat, talk about collecting wild foods, and learn some identification. Bring your questions, wear comfortable walking shoes, and put on your thinking caps for a fun filled walk.

Spring Forward Celebration

Vision Board Extravaganza

This class is set up as a rotating door, feel free to come for half an hour or stay for the whole time. During this class we will be setting intentions and beginning to manifest change in our lives. By making a Vision Board to place in a prominent location in our homes, we will visually be reminded of the positive changes we would like to see in our lives.

St. Patrick’s Day – Green Infusions

This class will be focused on our “green” allies, and how to make nourishing herbal infusions to strengthen your body, mind, and spirit. We will begin by tasting 4 different herbal infusions and describe how each makes us feel, their identities will then be revealed as we discuss their actions and benefits, as well as how to make an herbal infusion. As an added bonus: All things green will be 20% off in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
Valentine’s Box of Love Class

Using herbs that work as aphrodisiacs as well as herbs that actually enhance our heart’s performance, we will be learning how to take care of our loved one on a multitude of levels. We will be making a romantic herbal pack, Red Hot Massage Oil, and a heart elixir.

Toner Making Class
Tuesday, November 15th, 12:00-1:00 pm
Cost: $11, prepayment required as class size is limited.
Come learn how to make your own customized toner for your specific skin type. Toners restore the pH levels in our skin, tighten pores, and add an extra layer of protection for our largest organ, our skin. Materials and herbal refreshment included in the cost of the class.
